PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress blurring of an outline part of line images in an image in which regions expressing natural images and regions expressing line images are mixed. SOLUTION: Black region extraction data for expressing black regions in which a pixel color is black is generated according to multi-gradation image data, and at the same time, at least a part of pixels for forming outlines of the black regions is extracted according to the black region extraction data. Printing data is adjusted so that an ink amount of black ink dots to be formed to the extracted pixels is reduced. Accordingly, blurring due to bleeding of ink which is brought about to the outline part of line images can be suppressed without extraordinarily degrading the image quality of natural images in the image in which regions expressing line images such as a text or an illustration having a black pixel color and regions expressing natural images are mixed. |
