INK SET AND METHOD FOR INK JET RECORDING USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a clear color image with high color density and a sharp edge, without line thickening even when two kinds of inks of different colors are printed one on another and without boundary extruding even when two kinds of inks of different colors are printed adjoiningly. SOLUTION: In a method for ink jet recording wherein a color image is recorded on a material to be recorded by using inks of at least two different colors by means of a method for ink jet recording system, the ink contains a dye, a liq. medium and a polymer substance as essential ingredients and has a viscosity of 1×10<-3> to 1×10<-2> Pa.s at 25 deg.C and a dye used for at least one ink among inks with at least two different colors is an anionic dye and a dye used for an ink with a different color from the ink is a cationic dye.
