PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute one shot AF and servo AF of a phase difference detection system without using an AF-only optical system and a sensor by moving an exposure pupil position by giving a time difference and executing pupil time division phase difference AF through the use of obtained exposure and signals. SOLUTION: One shot AF or servo AF is executed and pupil time division phase difference AF is executed by viewing the state of an operation part 16. A system control part 7 transmits a control signal to a shutter converging system 3 and sets the shutter converging system 3 for pupil convergence for AF. Phase difference AF is executed by giving the time difference, moving the exposure pupil position to right and left by using the signals which are exposed and read. Thus, one shot AF and servo AF of the phase difference detection system can be executed without using the AF-only optical system and the sensor. Thus, more precise AF can be executed in short time by correcting AF of the phase difference detection system with AF of a partial down hill method. |
