PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress production of stripe fixed pattern noise caused by dispersion in a threshold voltage Vth of a horizontal switching transistor(TR). SOLUTION: In this device, each one terminal of load capacitors 16(..., 16n, 16n+1,...) is connected to each of vertical signal lines 13 leading a signal from a picture element TR 11 via operating switching TRs 15(..., 15n, 15n+1,...). Horizontal switch TRs 17(..., 17n, 17n+1,...) sequentially conductive in response to horizontal scanning pulses (...,ϕHn,ϕHnf1,...) is connected to each other terminal of the load capacitors 16(..., 16n, 16n+1,...) and an output terminal of an output circuit 21.
