MEDICAMENTS COMPRISING 5HT1-LIKE RECEPTOR AGONISTS WITH AN INCREASED ABSORPTION

The invention relates to a method improving the absorption of compounds which act as 5HT1-like receptor agonists following oral or intranasal administration. The invention also provides pharmaceutical compositions for oral or intranasal administration of 5HT1-like receptor agonists and paracellular absorption enhancers. The paracellular absorption enhancers increase the rate of absorption of the 5HT1-like receptor agonist. Suitable 5HT1-like receptor agonists for use in the invention include sumatriptan, naratriptan and 4-[3-(trans-3-dimethylaminocyclobutyl)-1H-indol-5-ylmethyl]-(4S) oxazolidin-2-one.
