PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently bring a washing liquor and air for drying into contact with a product without causing adhesion of the product to the surface of a case for washing or the like during washing and drying process and to prevent contamination of a washing chamber and a drying chamber with a machine oil for driving or the like. SOLUTION: The washing and drying apparatus is for washing a product S having a sticking property due to surface tension of water and then drying the product, and comprises a washing chamber 3 and a drying chamber 4 formed adjacently to each other and a charging chute 6 and a discharging chute 7 are formed in the washing chamber and the drying chamber, respectively, while being communicated to the outside. A transversely sending conveyer 8 whose screw shaft 9 is surrounded with a net cylinder 10 in the outside is inserted between the charging chute and the discharging chute in the washing chamber and the drying chamber and bearings 12 for supporting both end parts of the screw shaft 9 are installed in the outside of the washing chamber and the drying chamber and a washing nozzle 14 and an air nozzle 15 are installed under the net cylinder in the washing chamber and under the net cylinder in the drying chamber, respectively. The surface of the screw shaft is made uneven 17 for preventing the product S from sticking. |
