<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition having an appropriate pot-life at normal temperatures and capable of giving hardened forms excellent in mechanical strength and water resistance and slight in heavy metal leaching, by construction from fused slag produced by melting sewage sludge at a specific temperature followed by quenching, aluminum hydroxide produced by the action of specific mechanical energy, an alkali metal silicate, and water. SOLUTION: This hardening inorganic composition comprises fused slag pref. 0.1μm to 10 mm in average particle size which is produced by dehydrating sewage sludge pref. by the use of calcium hydroxide or organic high-molecular flocculant followed by melting at 1,000-2,000 (pref. 1,000-1,600) deg.C and then quenching, aluminum hydroxide pref. 0.1-300μm in average particle size which is produced by application of mechanical energy at 0.1-30 (pref. 0.2-15) kwh/kg, an alkali metal silicate, and water.</p> |
