The terminal has a roof mounted antenna (10). Radiotelephone and television (18) signals are converted to selected intermediate frequencies and combined for routing round the building through a single coaxial cable (16). Band pass filters (30,24) select whether television or telephone signals are received by the connected devices. One option is the incorporation of a small automatic exchange (38) for multiple occupant buildings. Suggested intermediate frequencies are 100 MHz for the radiotelephone link and 800 MHz for the television channels.
