PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the bite of a material to the utmost in a biaxial mixer having mixing drums formed to be along the rotational locus of mixing blades from lower side up to near upper side. SOLUTION: The rotational locus of the mixing blades runs along the inside wall 6 of two almost semicircle mixing drums 1, 1' forming a mixing vessel 2 from lower side up to the vicinity of upper side and the center of the mixing drums 1, 1' is made eccentric downward to the inside between the axial centers of the mixing shafts 3, 3' and the gap between the mixing blades 5 and the inside wall 6 of the mixing drums 1, 1' is controlled to be gradually increased with the rotation of the mixing blades 5.
