PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the sliding resistance between a suction plate unit having plural slit-like dehydration holes arrayed at specified intervals and a water permeable sheet and to suppress the meandering of the water permeable sheet by arranging these dehydration holes to a peak shape in the moving direction of the water permeable sheet. SOLUTION: The plural slit-like dehydration holes arrayed at the specified intervals in the suction plate unit 7 disposed on the front surface part of a suction box 6 are arranged to the peak shape in the moving direction of the water permeable sheet 2 moving in an arrow direction on the suction plate unit 7. As a result, The sliding resistance between the suction plate unit 7 and the water permeable sheet at the time of vacuum dehydration may be reduced and the abrasion loss of both of the water permeable sheet 2 and the suction plate unit 7 is decreased and the durability is improved. Even more, the force acts on the water permeable sheet 2 in the direction heading toward the center of the longitudinal direction at the time of the vacuum dehydration and, therefore, the meandering is suppressed.
