PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven wheelchair allowing not only horizontal movement but also vertical movement. SOLUTION: This motor-driven wheelchair provided with at least a pair of left and right wheels 108 drivable by an electric drive part 106 is provided with a base part 100 provided with the wheels 108 and the electric drive part 106, a sitting part 200 where a user can sit and an elevating/lowering mechanism part 300 capable of elevating and lowering the sitting part 200 by the electric drive part 106. By such constitution, since not only the horizontal movement but also the vertical movement of the motor-driven wheelchair can be electrically performed without any manual work, even in a spatially developing social environment, the convenience of the user of the motor-driven wheelchair is improved.
