<p>Amorphous sodium silicates act as builder substances in detergents. However, when they are processed with other detergent constituents according to current methods, their use leads to increased residues. The inventive method enables amorphous sodium silicates to be processed with other constituents. According to this method for producing detergent compactates with a bulk density of above 700 g/l, aqueous preparations of amorphous sodium silicate with a modulus Na2O:SiO2 of 1:2 to 1:3.3 and a polymeric polycarboxylate with M = 500 to 10000 g/mol are sprayed in a drying device together with other detergent constituents. A granulation process can take place at the same time as the drying process and the resulting basic detergent is then compacted, optionally after the admixture of other constituents. The resulting agents have improved secondary washing characteristics and identical primary washing characteristics compared with prior art.</p> |
