PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of not being able to miniaturize an engine as it is impossible to form a bulkhead between a crankshaft and a driveshaft when the driveshaft is arranged in the proximity of the crankshaft to miniaturize the engine and as the crankshaft and the driveshaft are separated from each other when the bulkhead is formed to stably support the crankshaft and the driveshaft. SOLUTION: A first bearing 16 supports the crankshaft 10 on a crankcase 6 free to rotate. A cylindrical part 43 is integrally formed with the crankcase 6. The driveshaft 20 oasses through this cylindrical part 43. A second bearing 21 is provided in the inside of the cylindrical part 43. Additionally, a central axis 10A of the crankshaft 10 is positioned between the neighbourhood of one end of the cylindrical part 43 and the neighbourhood of the other end of it in the axial direction of the driveshaft 20. Furthermore, a central axis 20A of the driveshaft 20 is positioned between the neighbourhood of one end of the first bearing 16 and the neighbourhood of the other end of it in the axial direction of the crankshaft 10.
