PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the operation time of a control means by holding the power supply voltage to the control means over a certain period even if input voltage lowers in an image forming apparatus to be operated by using AC voltage as a power supply. SOLUTION: When AC power supply voltage lowers, the operation of an engine part EG and the operation of a drive DC-DC converter 103 being the power supply thereof are stopped to suppress current consumption. A control DC-DC converter 106 uses the charge stored in a smoothing condenser 102 and the condenser 105 connected through a reverse-current preventing diode 10 to continue the feed to an engine controller 1. |
