PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a newspaper advertisement effect prediction system and method capable of presenting newspaper advertisement effect in consideration of the combined reading of a plurality of advertisement media and the number of times of the publication. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a storage inputting part 1 in which advertisement medium information including the kinds of newspaper, publication configurations and publication plans is stored, a medium information data base 2 in which the reading rate, the number of copies, regions, the number of households, and populations of the advertisement media and the combined reading cut rate of the respective advertisement media is stored, a fee data base 4 in which the carriage fee and additional fee of advertisements is stored, a consideration rate data base 3 in which consideration rates corresponding to the configurations of the advertisement media is stored, an accomplishment rate calculating part 5 for calculating the cumulative medium accomplishment rate and cumulative advertisement accomplishment rate of the plurality of advertisement media by using a calculation formula including the combined reading cut rate, the number of times of publication, and the consideration rate corresponding to the inputted advertisement configuration on the information data bases as parameters for the advertisement medium information stored in the storage input part, a fee calculating part 7 for calculating the advertisement fee, and an output part 8 for calculating and outputting the costs versus effects of the newspaper advertisement based on the calculated cumulative medium accomplishment rate and cumulative advertisement accomplishment rate and the advertisement fee.
