PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically produce regenerated paper through reusing a fiber fraction in froth and scum, mitigating the burden on a wastewater treatment facility, thereby reducing environmental effect. SOLUTION: The objective method for producing deinked pulp comprises a step of flotation treatment and/or white water treatment and a 2nd step of subjecting froth generated from the flotation treatment and/or scum generated from the white water treatment to ozone gas treatment to bleach the froth and/or the scum.
