PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote data measuring system with skip-back function, which realizes remote operation through intensive management and which intensively preserves necessary data at a center without omission. SOLUTION: The system is provided with center side devices 5 to 7 existing in a first place and remote place side devices 1 to 4 existing in a second place. The remote place side device is provided with a data-measuring means 1 for obtaining data from prescribed information at a prescribed measurement period, a storage means 2 which temporarily stores data to present time from time traced back by a prescribed period, a monitoring means 3 for judging whether data satisfies a prescribed data acquirement condition or not, and a means 3 for transmitting data which is stored temporarily in the storage means to the center side device, when data satisfies the prescribed data acquirement condition.
