<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector of superior durability with due considera tion for environment preservation. SOLUTION: A dust collector 1 is provided with a casing storage section 4 with an insertion opening 2 and a discharge outlet 34 in which an electric dust collecting section 5 is provided on the upstream side of an air flow path while a bag filter section 6 is provided on the downstream side of the electric dust collecting section, and a straightening plate 17 is disposed on the front face of the bag filter section 6, and also a spray opening 18 is formed between the straightening plate 17 and the electric dust collecting section 5, and a powder adsorbent is sprayed out of the spray opening 18. As dust and the like are removed first in the electric dust collecting section 5 in the dust collector 1, dust and the like infiltrated into the bag filter are reduced to reduce the backwash frequency and prevent the wear of a filter cloth. Harmful substances are a adsorbed by the powder adsorbent sprayed out of the spray opening 18 and filtered in the bag filter section 6 and removed therefrom.</p> |
