PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new receptor protein useful as an excellent anticancer agent and a material for screening the same. SOLUTION: A human-derived receptor protein or its salt, a DNA encoding the protein and an antibody against the protein or its salt are provided. A method for determining the ligand for the protein is provided. A method/a kit for screening a compound capable of altering the binding properties of the ligand to the protein are provided and a compound or its salt is obtained by the screening. Thereby, the antibody, the compound capable of altering the binding properties of the ligand to the protein (an antagonist, etc.), and an antisense polynucleotide are useful as the anticancer agent. |
