PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for simultaneously machining a deep hole and the outer periphery for a long workpiece capable of simultaneously subjecting deep hole machining and outer periphery machining such as milling and turning to the long workpiece, and also, capable of reducing the machining efficiency and machining costs to the maximum. SOLUTION: The device for simultaneously machining a deep hole and the outer periphery has the following structure. A movement guide member 9 for simultaneously machining a deep hole and the outer periphery is provided on a bed 3. A movement guide member 75 for machining the outer periphery of a long workpiece is provided in parallel to it. The long workpiece 93 is held on one side of the movement guide member 9 for simultaneously machining a deep hole and the outer periphery so as to be rotatable and capable of preventing the shaking. A deep hole machining mechanism 71 is provided on the other side of the movement guide member 9 for simultaneously machining a deep hole and the outer periphery so that a drill tube 73 can be moved laterally. Further, a mechanism 83 for machining the outer periphery of a lengthy workpiece having the constitution, in which the mechanism 83 is laterally movable and projectable/retractable in the slant forward and backward directions, is provided on the movement guide member 75 for machining the outer periphery of the long workpiece.
