<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless authentication apparatus capable of protecting precious data stored in an IC chip even when the apparatus is dropped down and to provide a reading apparatus of the wireless authentication apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless authentication apparatus uses a shared key to carry out mutual authentication with the reading apparatus, and includes: a storage means for storing the shared key; a shock detection means for detecting shock; and a control means for encrypting the shared key so as to disable the mutual authentication with the reading apparatus when the shock detection means detects a shock as its control. The reading apparatus uses the shared key to carry out the mutual authentication with the wireless authentication apparatus and includes: a storage means for storing media data; a reproduction means capable of reproducing the media data; and a control means for controlling the reproduction means so as to reproduce the media data when the mutual authentication with the wireless authentication apparatus is not established. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
