PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance voltage stability by conducting a step-up operation after finishing a setting operation, because there is the possibility of generating a trouble in an initial stage of a system when a step-up means is operated immediately after power-on, in a fluid flow measuring instrument. SOLUTION: A control means 47 transmits a set value from a storage means 46 to each means after power-on, and operates thereafter the step-up means 44 via a power source control means 45 to generate a high voltage. An operation for the step-up means 44 capable of preventing the system from being affected by voltage fluctuation, a noise or the like resulting from a change of a current is attained since the set-up means is stopped when the setting operation is carried out.
