A plasma display panel is provided to reduce noise by electromagnetic force generated between an electrode of a front substrate and a barrier rib of a rear substrate by adhering the front substrate and the rear substrate with a black matrix. A plasma display panel includes plural electrodes(120,130), a black matrix(160) formed between the electrodes and having a center portion which is higher than the electrodes, and a front substrate(100) provided on the electrode and the black matrix and having a dielectric. A rear substrate is positioned opposite to the front substrate, and has horizontal barrier ribs with a channel formed thereon. The black matrix has a height of about 3 micrometers to 8 micrometers.
