PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo handling vehicle for loading/unloading a container attachably/detachably mounted on an undercarriage between the undercarriage and the ground which is capable of enhancing the work efficiency of loading the container unloaded on the ground onto the undercarriage. SOLUTION: In the cargo handling vehicle V, a hook arm 5 having a hook 6 to be engaged/disengaged with/from an engagement part 17 of a container Ct is provided on a lift arm 4 which is provided on a dump arm 3 on an undercarriage F turnably in the longitudinal direction, and the container Ct is loaded on the undercarriage F by the turn of the lift arm 4. A guide member G is provided on a forward front face 5f of the hook arm 5. The engagement part 17 of the container Ct is guided by a guide part 23 of the guide member G by the rear turn of the lift arm 4 irrespective of the height of the container Ct, and the hook 6 is engaged with the engagement part 17 by the subsequent forward turn of the lift arm 4.
