PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save labor required for alignment with format paper, and smoothly do printing on the second and subsequent sheets of the format paper. SOLUTION: When it is specified that the printing is done on the format paper, so that printing data can be fed from a host device 10, a printer control part 12 drives a scanner device 3, makes the scanner device 3 scan an image of an original of the format paper, which is set in the scanner device 3, and combines the scanned image with developed data which are fed from the host device 10 and stored in a storage device 13, so as to do test printing. After the test printing, when regular printing is instructed to be done, only the developed data, which are stored in the storage device 13, are output to be printed on the format paper. |
