摘要 An engine with eight automatic reciprocating piston steam cylinders is provided to collect output from the automatic reciprocation piston steam cylinders to a single crank shaft to increase engine output by eight times without any complicated strokes and operate the cylinders with steam instead of oil for reducing vibration and noise. An engine includes an engine body having eight cylinders in sequence. Each cylinder rod(60) of the cylinders is coupled with a bearing cap(61) of a crank shaft(64) by a rod joint(62) so that the cylinders rotate with respect to the crank shaft. Each of the cylinders is formed with a steam inlet(80) connected to an engine internal steam pipe(83) via an engine steam inlet(85). Each of the cylinders is divided into two chambers with respect to a central barrier body and pistons coupled with touch valves are assembled into the chambers in opposite directions. By steam supply, the cylinders at the opposite positions move back and forth alternately and outputs thereof are collected to the crank shaft to rotate the crank shaft.
