<p>An automatic balancing apparatus, a rotating apparatus, a disk drive apparatus, a balancer, and a housing are provided to optimally move magnetic fluid attached to the balancer by an optimum magnetic field that is generated according to the shape of a yoke, and stabilize the posture of the balancer for preventing undesirable vibration and obtaining balance of the rotation of an object quickly. An automatic balancing apparatus(10) comprises a rotatable housing(5), magnetic fluid(9) contained in the housing, and a plurality of balancers(11) that are movable within the housing. Each balancer has a magnet(17), and a yoke(13) mounted to the magnet having a projected portion(13a) or a recessed portion on the inner side of rotation of the housing. The projected or recessed portion of the yoke is formed in a circumferential direction of rotation of the housing to be symmetrical to the center of the balancer.</p> |
