PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of facilitating handling of a renewed printer driver used on the computer side for the image forming device. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a communication means 102 for communicating via a network 1, a print means 108 for forming and outputting an image according to image data on recording paper, and a control means 101 for controlling the formation of the image of the image data obtained via the network, and is characterized in that the control means 101 communicates with a control server connected to the network with every specific time, retrieves the presence of the renewed printer driver used for the image forming device, and controls so as to download the printer driver from the control server when there exists the renewed printer driver. |
