PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spread spectrum wireless communication system that prevents an undesired radio wave from being transmitted in the standby state of a slave side communication device so as to reduce a standby state average consumed current. SOLUTION: The spread spectrum wireless communication system consists of a master side communication device 1 and a slave side communication device 2 and conducts communications by using frequency hopping spread spectrum processing. The master side communication device 1 sets itself to a full frame transmission mode when establishing synchronization.
