<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which reduces unevenness in brightness at a light incident part when making light incident oppositely to a part of the light incident part of a light guide, and also to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: An illuminant 12 is accommodated a recessed place defined by a recess 20 of a base 11, and a first hardening material is first injected into the dent while an open direction Z1 of the recessed place is inclined in a first gradient direction to the vertical direction when a translucent material 13 surrounding around the illuminant 12 is formed, to harden the material so that an unhardened part remains on a surface on the side of the open direction Z1. Then, while the open direction Z1 of the recessed place is inclined in a second gradient direction opposite to the first gradient direction with respect to the vertical direction, a second hardening material is injected into the recessed place and hardened together with the first hardening material, to form the translucent material 13. Thus, an open surface part 30 of the translucent material 13 is recessedly formed to serve as a light path changing part for reflecting the light incident from the illuminant 12 so as to increase an absolute value of an angle from a vertical reference line with respect to a light emitting surface of the illuminant 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
