<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact power output device and a hybrid automobile equipped with the same superior in mountability and capable of enhancing transmission efficiency of motive power at a wider operation area. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid automobile 20 is provided with a motive power distribution integration mechanism 40 including a carrier 45 connected to a motor MG2, a sun gear 41 connected to a motor MG1 and a ring gear 42 connected to an engine 22; a first speed-change planetary gear mechanism PG1 and a second speed-change planetary gear mechanism PG2; a transmission 60 including a brake clutch BC1 capable of fixing-releasing the ring gear 62 of the first speed-change planetary gear mechanism PG1 and fastening the ring gear 62 and the carrier 64, and a brake clutch BC2 capable of fixing-releasing the ring gear 66 of the second speed-change planetary gear mechanism PG2 and fastening the ring gear 66 and the carrier 64. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
