<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure effectively preventing generation of noise and vibration called a tooth hitting sound between mutual both shafts 10 and 6, by devising a shape and a structure of a shock absorbing member 21 incorporated into a torque joint part 20 arranged between a tip part of an output shaft 10 and a base end part of a worm shaft 6. <P>SOLUTION: This shock absorbing member 21 is composed of a shock absorbing cylinder part 24 and a strut shaft part 25 respectively made as a separate body. Among these parts, the shock absorbing cylinder part 24 is sandwiched between an outer peripheral surface of a spline shaft part 12a and an inner peripheral surface of a spline hole 11a. The strut shaft part 25 is elastically compressed in the axial direction between a tip surface of the spline shaft part 12a and the innermost end surface of the spline hole 11a. Since the shock absorbing cylinder part 24 and the strut shaft part 25 are respectively constituted of a separate elastic material, these shock absorbing cylinder part 24 and strut shaft part 25 are made of the elastic material having a respectively different characteristic, and an adjustment of resiliency in the axial direction and an adjustment of resiliency in the torque transmission direction are respectively independently made. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
