<p>Clamping device (1) for attaching an object to a threaded rod (9) edge or the like in a clamping manner. The clamping device (1) is composed of a single wire part provided with attachment means for the respective object. The wire part comprises a first rod or wire engagement part (2) and a second rod or wire engagement part (3). At least one of said engagement parts comprises two engagement members (6) which are at a distance (a) from one another. The distance between said engagement members (6) is greater than the thickness of the part to be engaged. By bringing the two engagement parts (2,3) together during fitting and placing them on the threaded rod (9) or the like, the first and second engagement part will move apart in a resilient manner upon release, as a result of which the effective distance between the engagement members (6) for the threaded rod (9) or the like decreases, as a result of which clamping is achieved. It is possible for the design of the second engagement part (3) to be identical to that of the first engagement part (2), but it is also possible to design the former as a gripping hook, for example.</p> |
