PURPOSE: A device for maintaining tension of a line for a transmission tower is provided to maintain the tension of a transmission line by tightening and loosening the transmission line through the rotation of a motor. CONSTITUTION: A tension sensing box(10) is fixed on an arm unit(1). A piston is movably installed in a tension sensing box. The piston is connected to a motor mover(30) by a rod(17). A control box(20) includes a controller and a power supply unit and rotates the motor forward and backward. The motor is installed in the motor mover. A rotation bolt rod(36) is rotatably fixed in a front end of the motor mover. Two spreading bars(40) are fixed in the motor mover by a hinge pin and are inserted into a space of an intermediate moving bar(50).
