PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for managing digital contents according to a reproduction position, and a method and an apparatus for executing the same are provided to classify a reproduction location according to an application attribute, thereby providing accurate reproduction location information. CONSTITUTION: Digital contents are inputted from a digital content provider(1310). One or more applications receive input of a reproduction location on the digital contents(1320). Each task is performed about the digital contents. A reproduction location list is generated based on attribute information of the application(1330). The reproduction location is collected in the reproduction location list.
