The converter (1) has a set of clocked potential transformers (1a, 1b) provided with a set of filters (6a, 6b) respectively at an input side, where the transformers are connected together at an output. The potential transformers have connector plugs (5a-5b, 8a-8b) at an input and/or the output. A common filter (7) is provided at the output of the clocked potential transformers, where phases of the potential transformers are alternately controlled. The phases have inductors (L1-L4) and switches (X1-X4), where the inductors are magnetized by the switches.
