PURPOSE: A deferred redemption finance service system and method is provided to enable a customer to make a deferred lump sum redemption or a deferred installment redemption for paying a purchased commodity by combining a loan service of a bank with an installment redemption service of a credit card company over an online network. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a database(310), a control module(320), and a communication module(330). The database(310) includes a member management database(310-1), a transaction data management database(310-2), and an affiliated store and financial institute management database(310-3). The transaction data management database(310-2) stores data on a general lump sum redemption or a general installment redemption by a credit card, and a deferred lump sum redemption or a deferred installment redemption by a credit card. The control module(320) includes an approval control module(320-1), a general credit card payment control module(320-2) and a deferred credit card control module(320-3). The approval control module(320-1) approves the credit card member and requested transaction by using the member management database(310-1). The general credit card payment control module(320-2) stores the general lump sum redemption or installment redemption at the transaction data management database(310-2) in a case that a customer selects it as a payment method, and offers a corresponding redemption service. The deferred credit card control module(320-3) executes a deferred lump sum redemption or a deferred installment redemption process via an affiliated bank by using the databases(310-2, 310-3) in a case that a customer selects the deferred redemption as a payment method.
