PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isoliquiritigenin composition having liquiritigenin pharmacological effect.SOLUTION: An isoliquiritigenin composition is characterized by obtaining liquiritigenin by treating isoliquiritigenin in acidic organic acid aqueous solution mainly composed of organic acid via the reaction represented by the following reaction formula.
