PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control screen scrolling speed.SOLUTION: An electronic device includes a display section for displaying a screen; an image acquisition section for acquiring an image; and a control section for controlling scrolling speed of a screen scrolled. The control section makes scrolling speed slower as a distance between the eyes of a user and the display section is shorter. The control section makes the scrolling speed higher as the distance between the eyes of the user and the display section is larger. The control section stops scrolling the screen when eye-close time is longer than a predetermined time. The control section stops scrolling the screen when illuminance is equal to or less than a threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
