PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for proximity service discovery.SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of: associating each of representations with a different market item, the representation providing an expression to be broadcasted from a market server to a wireless broadcast device; receiving, in the market server, a request that requires information for identifying an item matched with an item being tried to be acquired, and being supplied on the market from a wireless device; transmitting to an associated wireless device a representation for matching the item being tried to be acquired with an associated broadcast signal that is associated with the item; and promoting information exchange between the wireless broadcast device and the wireless device trying to acquire the item being supplied by providing a data notification channel for direct inter-device data notification via a wireless channel by the market server.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B |
