PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of suppressing occurrence of ringing in the communication line, and to provide a communication device and a communication method.SOLUTION: A simultaneous transmission period where a plurality of ECU1, 2 can output signals simultaneously to a common communication line 5, and a single transmission period where any one of the ECU1, 2 wining a transmission right by arbitration outputs a signal singly are provided. Each ECU1, 2 switches the impedance so that the output impedance is low when a signal is outputted in a predetermined period of at least a part of the single transmission period, and the output impedance is high when a signal is outputted in a period other than the predetermined period. Furthermore, each ECU1, 2 outputs a signal of multiple bits where dominant or recessive is continuous, but switches the impedance when outputting a recessive signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
