PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a shift changing operation to be carried out by a slight operating force.SOLUTION: A speed change gear comprises shaft supporting members 11a, 11b; a shift rod 13 freely supported by the shaft supporting members 11a, 11b movable in an axial direction between a transmitted position and a non-transmitted position axially spaced apart; and shift forks 15, 16 arranged at the shift rod 13 in an axial slidable manner and operated to move in an axial direction between a neutral position getting a power non-transmitting state and a power force transmitting state position axially spaced apart as seen from the neutral position; and abutting segments 31, 32, 33 and 34 arranged at the shift rod 13 and constituted to be abutted against the shift forks 15, 16 while the shift forks 15, 16 are operated to move so as to change over axial positions of the shift forks 15, 16 from the neutral position to the transmitted position under a state in which the shift rod 13 is present at a position other than the transmitted position, and move the shift rod 13 to the transmitted position together with the shift forks 15, 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
