PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe nonaqueous electrolyte power storage device securing an unconventional overcharge area.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte power storage device comprises at least, a negative electrode capable of occluding and releasing metallic lithium and/or lithium ions, a positive electrode corresponding to the negative electrode, and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The nonaqueous electrolyte power storage device can be charged in such a condition that a capacity of SOC (State of Charge)=100% or more can be obtained as 21st charge capacity even after the power storage device is charged until reaching an overcharge area and discharged corresponding to the charge, which is repeated 20 times. In the nonaqueous electrolyte power storage device, the negative electrode includes a lithium titanate of which the specific surface area is 11±5 m/g. Now, it is noted that any arbitrary capacity when the negative electrode shows a potential that is reduced with respect to a potential in SOC=0% by 5% or more as a relative value is defined as SOC=100%.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
