PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonvolatile cache memory having an extended service life.SOLUTION: A cache memory device in an embodiment includes: a nonvolatile cache memory; a writing section; a determination section; a selection section; and a deletion section. The nonvolatile cache memory has plural deletion unit areas. The deletion unit area includes plural writing unit areas. The writing section writes data in the nonvolatile cache memory. The determination section determines whether or not the plural deletion unit areas satisfy deletion conditions. When the plural deletion unit areas satisfy the deletion conditions, the selection section selects a deletion target area from the plural deletion unit areas.
