PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform, in detecting a printed image to compare the detected image with information on an image for printing, propriety determination on the printed image even when the image for printing includes an image on which image detection is impossible.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises: a carriage unit for carrying a transfer medium; an image formation unit for printing an image on the transfer medium on the basis of an image for printing; and a control unit for receiving a result of detection by an image detection unit for detecting the image printed on the transfer medium. The control unit has either of: a determination function that removes, in the case of adding an image on which image detection is possible and an image on which image detection is impossible to a manuscript image to make the image for printing, an area of the image on which image detection is possible and determines a state of a printed image on the basis of comparison between information on a detected image and information on the image for printing; and a determination function that takes, in the case that an image for printing includes an image on which image detection is impossible, information on an image obtained by removing the image on which image detection is impossible from the image for printing as comparison information and determines a state of a printed image on the basis of comparison between information on a detected image and the comparison information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
