PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for generation and utilization of third data in a short time, in a configuration for generating third data, such as an identifier or an encryption key, by using device-specific first data generated using a physically unclonable function (PUF), or the like, and second data acquired from outside the device.SOLUTION: The first generation unit 11 of a data generation device 10A generates device-specific first data. The first determination unit 11 determines whether or not acquisition of second data is required, according to predetermined conditions. When a determination is made that acquisition of second data is required, the acquisition unit 13 acquires second data from outside the device. The second generation unit 14 generates third data by using the first data and second data. The storage control unit 16 stores the second data, used for generation of the third data, in the storage unit 20A. When a determination is made that acquisition of second data is not required, the second generation unit 14 generates third data by using the first data and second data stored in the storage unit 20A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
