PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable color matching processing without requiring an interpolation calculation to primary colors while using a LUT during outputting the primary colors in an arbitrary color space with primary colors of a color space of an output device.SOLUTION: An image processor determines values of lattice point coordinates on a LUT corresponding to a prescribed color, associates a signal in a uniform color space of the prescribed color designated by first color space information with the determined values of the lattice point coordinates, calculates a first matrix for converting each signal of the uniform color space into the values of the lattice point coordinates on the basis of the association, associates a signal in a uniform color space of the prescribed color designated by second color space information with the designated lattice point coordinates, calculates a second matrix for converting each value of the lattice point coordinates into a signal of the uniform color space on the association, and uses the second matrix and the second color space information to generate a LUT for converting each value of the lattice point coordinates into a signal of the second color space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
