PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing utensil capable of using a soft felt pen-point or a pen-point for a writing brush, in the writing utensil integrally incorporating an ink tank and equipped with a valve device. SOLUTION: In the writing utensil 1 structured of an ink tank 2 with the valve device 3 provided on the opening end and a pen-point support member 5 internally fitted in a freely sliding manner, an arm 15 is formed on a pen-point holder 14 and is made to face a window 16 formed on the outer peripheral face of the pen-point support member 5, with the pen-point holder 14 installed in close proximity to the valve body 8 of the valve device 3. The pen-point holder moves back the valve body 8 from a valve seat 9 in an interlocking action of the pen-point holder 14 by depressing the arm 15 to the ink tank 2 side from outside through the window 16. Consequently, the ink flows into the pen-point support member 5 across the valve body 8 and penetrates the pen-point 4 to make it possible to write a character and draw a figure. Thus it is possible to use a soft felt pen-point or a pen-point for a writing brush, as no load is applied to the pen-point 4 during replenishing the ink. |
