PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for easily changing a program or data for operating a microcomputer. SOLUTION: There is provided a medium reader (dual type medium device 29) which is capable of reading information stored on a second memory medium (memory element 30). The second memory medium stores a second program different from a program stored on a first memory medium (ROM 28) or correction data used, instead of set up data. With the second memory medium mounted in the medium reader, a microcomputer 27 controls each constituent component, based on the second program or correction data. Upon detection of a failure in the second memory medium, the microcomputer 27 controls each constituent component, based on the first program stored in the first memory medium or set up data. The medium reader is of a write-read dual type and, upon detection of a failure during reading operating time data of a maintenance component (purifying filter 6), clears only the operating time data. |
