PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed gas hydrate pellet suitable for long-term storage and transportation of gas hydrate of mixed gas containing methane such as natural gas, and to provide a method for producing the mixed gas hydrate pellet.SOLUTION: In this mixed gas hydrate pellet in which gas hydrate of mixed gas containing methane is compressed and molded, the gas hydrate of mixed gas is a gas hydrate having a type II cage structure. The mixed gas hydrate pellet has, on the mixed gas hydrate pellet surface, ice formed by freezing of water generated by decomposition of the gas hydrate having the type II cage structure on the pellet surface. |
